  • Ernest "Ernie" Lemuel Holloway, Jr.

Ernie L. Holloway, Jr., 75, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Ernie was a lifelong resident of Poquoson, who, despite wondering off a few times, always came home for lunch in Poquoson. He was employed by Apples Automotive in their machine shop until his health would no longer allow him to work.
As a child Ernie loved baseball and walking through the woods sometimes for miles just to see what he could see and he loved being on the water. When he was younger Ernie loved to hunt, but as he became an adult, he treasured being around nature and the animals and embracing their presents.
He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Robinson (Rick); friend, Glyn Watley as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2022 at Parklawn Memorial Park.

Arrangements and heartfelt guidance through Claytor Rollins Funeral Home.
