    Actors Reza Kianian, Esma’il Khalaj, Ahmad Aqalu, Human Seyyedi, and Payam Dehkordi were selected for “A Piece of Bread” by Habib Reza’i, who also chose the cast for “The Lizard”.

     

    Tabrizi’s latest film “The Lizard” was deemed insulting to clerics, and after a short time producer Manuchehr Mohammadi stopped screening the film in Iranian movie theaters. However, it became the biggest box office hit in the history of Iranian cinema.
