Their collaboration resulted in a research study that provided invaluable insight into understanding the persistence of gender inequality in higher education institutions. Conducted at  the University of Dar es Salaam,  the best-ranked university in Tanzania, Dr. Chuwa's dissertation research brought to light the female faculty leaders' perspective on this social issue.
