    Anthony Davis (born September 6, 1970), better known by his stage nameAnt, is an American hip hop producer. He is best known as being one half of the hip hop group Atmosphere, but has worked with many other artists and projects, mostly with Rhymesayers Entertainment, such as Brother Ali, I Self Devine, Felt and The Dynospectrum. He has also released three albums, Melodies and Memories, Melodies and Memories 85–89 and Collection of Sounds Vol. 1.

    Ant started to become interested in DJing at a very young age. He would watch his father DJ in the army while he would picture himself as Grandmaster Flash. Years later he would start to use producing and DJing as much more than a hobby. The first CD that he worked on was Comparison by Beyond, later known by Sab the Artist, in 1996. While producing that album, he met Sean Daley (Slug) and they later worked together.[1] With one exception (Lucy Ford: The Atmosphere EPs), Ant has produced every Atmosphere album in full. He also works with various artists that are a part of Rhymesayers Entertainment (including full production of three Brother Ali albums) and many more.

      Anthony Davis is a British broadcaster with an enormous creative range. His earliest inspiration in show business was courtesy of a meeting with Paul Winchell, the legendary voice of Tigger. At fourteen Anthony appeared in BBC sitcoms and drama including ‘Grange Hill’, ‘Tricky Business’ and ‘Press Gang’ earning him a place in the Radio Times Guide to TV Comedy.

      After drama school in London, he worked in Selfridges, Harrods and Hamleys, demonstrating magic tricks by day and performing comedy by night. Anthony used his salary to fund driving lessons and at eighteen hit the road in an A-reg Mitsubishi Colt, to perform in the modern equivalent of the variety genre, corporate entertainment.

      Anthony spent the next fifteen years writing, producing and compèring annual conferences, trade shows and sales launches for many of the UK’s largest firms and blue chip companies. His ideas and conceptual productions were increasingly lavish and he became known as the Busby Berkeley of the business world.

      Anthony came into his own as a speech writer and coach, training executives in presentation skills and business plan delivery. By the age of 25, Anthony had accrued over 400 clients, giving him an exclusive insight into the corporate s
